Barr Anal Retractor self-retaining, blades 2-3/4" deep x 7/8" wide (7.0 cm x 2.2 cm), 8" (20.3 cm) Barr Anal Retractor is designed with self-retaining blades that can be inserted into the anus and opened up to 3" for surgical procedures in the lower rectum or anus. The perpendicular ring handles allow for greater control and precise widening of the blades.

Hill-Ferguson Rectal Retractor Hill-Ferguson Rectal Retractor is used in rectal surgery to widen the opening to the anus and increase access to the lower rectum. The retractor features a curved blade at one end and a wider, cylindrical handle at the other. The retractor is available in various blade sizes to accommodate a wide range of cases.

Ives-Fansler Anoscope w/ plastic obturator, 1" diameter, 3-3/8" (8.5 cm) Ives-Fansler Anoscope features a plastic obturator that is inserted into the anus for guidance of the outer hollow tube into the anus. A light can be shown through this tube for clearer viewing. A perpendicular handle makes the instrument more convenient to operate. The speculum is designed to examine the anal canal.

This allows the operator to examine the lower rectum and anus without constantly squeezing the spring handles.
